You may remember my piece on League City titled ‘Tea, Antiques & Books‘ where my daughters and I discovered the whimsical side of historical League City, TX. We went back and explored a little bit further down Main St, and revisited our favorite cottage shops! Here are the pictures from our fun day!
1.Cakes by Jula:
Imagine my surprise when I entered this amazing cake shop and saw a TON of book inspired cakes. They’re gorgeous & unique; I know where my next birthday cake is coming from!

2. Mommie Chic and Me
An adorable little shop with specialty clothing, shoes, sock, bows- you name it. There’s even a bucket of barbie dolls in the back of the store for your kids to play with while you shop (life-saver!). I said “OMG. IT’S SO CUTE” about fifteen times.

3. Nana’s Attic
My most favorite store under the sun! I love it even more than Barnes & Noble, and that’s saying A LOT. Nana’s was a main feature in Tea, Antiques & Books, so if you love what you see in these pictures, you’ll really love the peek inside their store in the other article.
(Had to buy these.)

BONUS: Nana Decor!
See that awesome wallpaper!? That’s not wallpaper! It’s scrapbook paper that’s been glued on with wallpaper glue! And it’s been there for YEARS, meaning that Pinterest DIY that i didn’t believe would actually work- really does! I’m SO doing this to my office.
The bricks are painted, as well as the faux door frame. The unique vintage touches make the atmosphere of Nana’s unique and WHIM-ZAY!
I never knew I wanted a cotton wreath, but I do now. As well as the OH-SO-CUTE hangy thingies from that leaf thing- yes, that’s the technical term. I majored in interior design…. not really. I also love the wooden bird cages, anything wooden gives me that Once Upon a Time/ fairy tale vibe. Mix it with some greenery and boom.
PAPER!! I recently discovered Paper Source (see their awesome-ness here). Take a moment and appreciate paper flowers, paper garland, and cute flying birds from the ceiling.
